A Dangerous Game of Hide and Seek

Forsaken is an action game where one player hunts and the others try to get away. The Killer searches for Survivors, while Survivors work through their objectives. A round can change as soon as the two sides cross paths.

The game can be played in a browser without downloading a separate client. The platform checks basic playability and performance, and monitors changes to the game page during routine maintenance.

What Happens During Play

Playing as a Survivor means keeping busy while watching for the Killer. You might be close to finishing an objective when you hear or spot danger nearby. At that point, getting out safely matters more than finishing the task. Learn the routes and avoid making every escape the same.

The Killer has to search the area and catch the other players. Chasing too early can give Survivors time to slip away, so choosing when to close the distance matters. Each character also has abilities that can change an encounter.

Controls

  • W, A, S, D: Move

  • Mouse: Turn the camera

  • Shift: Sprint

  • Spacebar: Jump

  • 1, 2, 3: Use abilities

The Experience

Easy to Start, Harder to Master

The keys are simple enough to learn in a few minutes. Knowing where to go is another matter. New players may waste time searching for objectives or get trapped when the Killer arrives. Familiarity comes from playing, not from memorizing the controls alone.

How the Pace Changes

There is often a little time to think before a chase begins. Once the Killer finds someone, decisions have to be made quickly. One round may end fast; another can keep players busy for longer. Both roles offer a different reason to play again.

Useful Habits

  • Remember nearby routes while working on objectives.

  • Don't sprint just because you have the option.

  • Try abilities in different situations to learn their limits.

  • If one escape route fails, take another.

  • When playing the Killer, search carefully instead of chasing every movement.
