On the Train
Dead Rails is a shooter about Billy Bones and a train packed with skeletons. The engine is at the front. To reach it, Billy has to deal with the enemies in the cars along the way. The first-person view keeps the fights close. Guns are the main weapons, but Billy also has a lasso. It comes in handy when a skeleton gets too near. Shots can be placed on the head, arms, or legs too.
Getting Through Each Car
The way forward is not complicated. Move through a car, deal with the skeletons, and continue toward the engine. There are items around the train, so it is worth checking the area before moving on.
The start gives a little time to get used to things. Further ahead, the cars become more crowded and fights can get messy. There is less room to move when several skeletons are around. The game is fairly short, so one run does not take up much time. Playing again can help with the harder cars. The platform checks the game for basic browser playability and performance. - Take out the skeletons closest to Billy first.
- Keep some space behind you during a fight.
- Pull out the lasso when shooting is not a good option.
- Reload before entering a busy train car.
- Look into the next car before walking in.
- If enemies bunch together, deal with the ones blocking the way first.
