Each level presents the challenge of finding a key and reaching the exit at the end. Your stickman's health is displayed in the top left corner, while your gold count is shown in the top right. Be cautious—taking damage from enemies or projectiles can significantly decrease your health, and certain traps like spikes or acid can lead to instant death. If your stickman dies, you’ll respawn at the last checkpoint, but losing all your lives means you must restart the level.
Before embarking on your adventure, you can customize your stickman in the main menu, choosing different skins, weapons, and pets. While skins and weapons are primarily cosmetic, pets can help you earn extra gold and offer unique advantages. Unlock new items by completing achievements, spending gold, or watching ads.
As you navigate through levels, you'll encounter various hazards such as traps, enemies, and mechanics. Most enemies will harm you on contact or launch projectiles, while others may explode if you get too close. You can choose to evade these foes or defeat them using your sword. Along the way, you'll encounter moving platforms, springs to propel you upward, blocks to push, and buttons that trigger door openings. At the end of each world, prepare for a showdown with a challenging boss in a confined arena.
Throughout the game, you’ll collect gold and power-ups like magnets and extra lives. Additionally, gather red gems dropped by enemies—collecting three allows you to unlock bonus chests. Keep an eye out for letters that spell "SWORD" to acquire a new sword. You can also discover various swords throughout the levels.
